MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Paramedic applicants must possess ACLS/PALS and CPR card
- EMT applicants must possess CPR card
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Possess Oregon State Paramedic License or EMT Basic, Advance or Intermediate by time of hire
- Possess a valid Driver’s License
- DPSST/NFPA Driver certified or equivalent, for laterals
- DPSST/NFPA Firefighter I or equivalent
- Meet the District’s physical qualifications and pass a background check, medical exam and drug screening prior to appointment
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language
- Lateral minimum 3 years career paid experience

- FF/EMT-B Salary: $63,745 - $77,278
- FF/EMT-A Salary: $66,294 - $77,555
- FF/EMT-I Salary: $68,946 - $80,657
- FF/EMT-P Salary: $71,704 - $83,884

- FF/EMT-B Salary: $68,700 - $77,278

- *Laterals must have 3 years or more professional fulltime experience to be considered.
- **Laterals will start at the 2-year step in our pay scale and receive 144 hours of vacation and 48 hours of sick leave.
RELOCATION STIPEND:
- Accepted applicants can receive up to $2,500 in a relocation stipend if you meet all minimum requirements
- You must move to Boardman Fire Rescue District to receive the relocation stipend
- You will be required to work with BFRD for 1 full year
- *Applicants already living in our District do not qualify

OUR DISTRICT:
- BFRD provides fire, rescue and emergency medical services for the citizens of the district, as well as ambulance services to the surrounding areas outside of Morrow County. Our full and part-time employees respond to a variety of emergencies, including wildfire and structural fires.

- Boardman, OR is located in Eastern Oregon about 2 and a half hours from Portland, OR just off I-84. The nearest metro area is 38 miles north, just across the state line in Tri-Cities, Washington.
